Directions: To burn aromatically, ignite the tip of a sandalwood chip then gently shake out the flame allowing its smoke to burn freely. Set a positive intention as you guide the purifying smoke around your body and space to cleanse. Hold an abalone shell or a bowl beneath to catch any ash or embers. Keep a window open to allow the smoke to escape along with any negative energy. Safely rest your sandalwood on the edge of an abalone shell or fireproof bowl, so that the ash is collected as it continues to gently burn until naturally extinguishing. Use sandalwood to invite the sacred into your space, remove any negative energies and create a deep sense of calm.
